Johnsburg Red - Bark Eater Outfitters

Johnsburg Red

Many of the Great Camps in the Adirondacks used Johnsburg Red paint for the trims of windows and doors because it withstood the harsh winter climate.  This big beefy corduroy lid exemplifies the brown and red color combo often seen throughout the Park. Johnsburg, NY is the town which produced paints from their mineral deposits.
